পাসপোর্ট চালু করেছে। আর দক্ষিণ এশিয়ার প্রথম দেশ হিসেবে বাংলাদেশ ই - পাসপোর্ট চালু করেছে ২২ জানুয়ারি ২০২০ সালে। প্রাথমিকভাবে ঢাকায় হযরত শাহজালাল আন্তর্জাতিক বিমানবন্দরে স্থাপন করা ৯টি 'ই - গেট' দিয়ে সুবিধা মিলবে ই - পাসপোর্ট ব্যবহারের।
